Nokia N8 Expected to Revive Fortunes of Mobile Phone Leader

Mobile phone have come a long way since their open as a full-fledged diversion device a few years ago. Apart from the increase in screen skill, the area where most mobile headset have increased in features is the camera. We are now at a stage when mobile headset cameras are now less in quality and feature when compared to the standalone digital cameras. The ideal example for this is the new Nokia N8, which is the latest headset from Nokia and one that is also expected to revive the company's fortunes that has taken a beating in the last few years.

The Nokia N8's imposing features do not take long to recognise. It is the 12 megapixel camera that stands out like of the crowd of other impressive features. To be honest, there has been no other mobile headset camera in the world that can come close to this in terms of both quality and feature. In fact, many low cost standalone digital cameras will even get it difficult to come close to the level of quality that is mortal put out by the 12 megapixel camera that has Carl Zeiss optics. It also has the largest picture sensor to be ever used in a mobile headset camera and that means that the low light photography will be specially very fine.

There is a xenon flash that is life form used in the Nokia N8 and this is significantly better than the dual LED flashes that are being used prominently in many mobile headset. Further, the camera has a figure of new features like image stabilisation and face detection. There is also video stabilisation because you will be bound to record a number of videos using this camera. The 720 p video recording facility is one of the core reasons for it and by the use of this stabilisation feature, unnecessary shakes are avoided. Nokia also claims that it is very fine in terms of cancelling out unnecessary wind noise as well. Unlike many other cameras that have only one microphone for recording the sounds in the video, the Nokia N8 has two microphones. The result is 5.1 surround sounds in the record videos itself.

You will be able to enjoy this in full surround sound by between the Nokia N8 to the home theatre in your home using the HDMI output cable. Also, you can watch the record videos and indeed the headset itself on a large screen by connecting the headset to a HDTV. The other impressive features of the headset include the latest Symbian operating system, Symbian 3 and a 624 MHz processor. Even though this might be less in the ratings section, it is more than sufficient for running the Symbian operating system since this operating system is widely regarded to be the memory efficient operating system of all. The Nokia N8 is available without contract for around £350, while the headset is available for around £30 a month with contract.
