Nokia is one of the leaders in the mobile headset manufacturing. Nokia headset are sturdy and durable and in terms of service, it is considered to the best. The best thing about Nokia headset is that even the affordable headset and the cheaper models are not compromised about quality. For this reason, people continue to buy Nokia headset all over the world. However, like every other gadget, sometimes certain problem crop up in them as well. But these problems can easily be fixed at home if you just have a small bit of patience and expertise to go through the user manual carefully. These problems may just occur due to mishandling or just by mistake and there is nothing to worry about them.

The areas in which a mobile headset can have certain problems are stated below, along with their solutions. If you have any such problem with your headset, then you can try out these simple steps at home.
Problems Related to Hardware: The problems related to the hardware or the device ranges from the keys of the headset not working to a blank screen with no display. Or sometimes the backlight of the headset stays on permanently. Such problems may be fixed by switching off the headset and taking out and reinserting the battery back again. In some model, you cannot remove the battery but in the other models, such problems are non-existent.
Security Codes: The security codes are for protecting your SIM card and sometimes due to the pressing of keys unmindfully, you may simply lock your headset by punching in wrong digits. The attach is a four digit figure and you have to set the PIN and the PIN2 yourself, which can be done by following the user guide. The phone then sometimes asks you for a PUK or a Personal Unblocking Key to reset your PIN and you can do that simply by asking your service provider about it.
Memory Card Problems: Sometimes the phone gives you a notification saying you do not have adequate memory space. For this, close some applications in your headset and try again. In case you have forgotten the password to the memory card, formatting the card from the "Menu" may enable you to use the memory card once again. However, all the previous data of the card is bound to get lost in the process.
However, you also need to remember that if you find any trouble while handling the phone or even after your phone does not work properly after these steps have been tried, you need to take your phone to an authorized dealer or to a Nokia Care Center. They will repair your headset as if it was a brand new one.
